The public itch.io profile at nyankobflol.itch.io uses the name NyankoBfLol. On 10 October 2026 that profile showed the pronouns He/Him, the line “Silly guy that likes to make silly stuffs,” and the line “I make incredibox scratch mods and scratch games.” The hub on this site spells the same name NyankoBFLol. The about page is a longer fan summary of the projects. It is not a biography he published.

A legal name, age, city, or face is not stated on the itch.io profile, the project pages, or the YouTube description checked for this article. This site does not publish leaked personal details.

What he says in the Sprunki video description

The video this site embeds under the title “About Sprunki... and related situations” is youtube.com/watch?v=rUoGbPWakB4. The same embed is on the videos page. The description, read on 10 October 2026, is written as NyankoBfLol. It says he was a fan of Incredibox, wanted to make a mod that did something new, and then:

I made a mod called "sprunki" and published it, but I did not know how much of an impact this mod could've done to me and the community

I made sprunki just for fun, FOR FUN.

Later in the same description he writes, “I don't think some fans even know that I made sprunki.” He also writes that Sprunki “was intended to be an incredibox mod.”

On cancellation, the description says: “The hacking incident is one of the reasons I cancelled sprunki. But let me tell you that it was not the main reason. It was already cancelled before the incident.” The heading above that explanation is “OVERPOPULARITY.” He describes an account-hacking incident in the same text. This page does not repeat what he says was leaked. An upload date for the video is not stated in the description text that was read.

What he wrote on itch.io

On the comments for Incredibox mini mod - think, a reply posted by NyankoBfLol was labeled “13 days ago” when this page was checked on 10 October 2026. The calendar date of that reply is not stated on the page. The reply says:

Please credit me for making sprunki and if you can, link my itch.io account for the others to play my project. And if you're playing the actual sprunki project, also credit So Far So Good for making incredibox.

The same reply answers two questions. First, using his characters with credit is allowed, “but if you're making a fanmade and playable sprunki mod, please also credit So Far So Good for creating Incredibox.” Second:

I do not have an official sprunki focused website, and there is no official upload of sprunki avalible publically. I assume you found a website that uploaded my project without permission.

The spelling “avalible” is his. A separate reply labeled “35 days ago” on the same date says: “You and everyone are free to make a sprunki fan mod as long as you credit me and So Far So Good. You're allowed to edit the sprites.”

A reply labeled “9 days ago” says: “ANY MORE SPRUNKI RELATED QUESTIONS WILL BE IGNORED AND DELETED. I WILL ALSO BAN YOU IF YOU ASK TOO MUCH.” That is why this article uses the statements he already published, instead of treating unrelated project comments as a place to ask him again.

Sprunki is a mod. Incredibox is a different work.

Sprunki and Incredibox get mixed together in search results. They are not the same project, and they do not have the same maker.

• Sprunki is the fan-made Incredibox mod NyankoBfLol says he made and published. A first public release date is not stated on the itch.io pages or the YouTube description checked on 2026-10-10.
• Incredibox is the music app. Its press page says: “Incredibox was created in 2009 and is the brainchild of the Lyon-based studio So Far So Good.” That page’s own last-update line reads “21th october 2025.”
• The Incredibox FAQ, with the same last-update line, answers “Who is behind Incredibox?” with “Allan (Director, code & animation), Romain (Design & illustration) and Paul(Music & sound design).” It also says “Incredibox is the property of the SO FAR SO GOOD company.”

NyankoBfLol does publish one Sprunki-related game on his itch.io account: INCREDIBOX - sprunki remastered cancelled build. On 10 October 2026 that page listed him as the author, status Released, platform HTML5, genre Rhythm, and the tags Fangame, Horror, Incredibox, and Sprunki. It also said “No generative AI was used” and showed a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 71 ratings. Ratings change. The page says: “INCREDIBOX belongs to So Far So Good. This project is a fan work, and is not for profit.”

That page does not say the file is the original Sprunki upload. His comment, quoted above, says there is no official public upload of Sprunki, and that a site which hosted the project did so without permission. Treat reuploads on other domains as unofficial. The playable project this hub lists is the cancelled remaster on his itch.io page, also linked from Projects.

The video description says he cancelled Sprunki, and that the cancellation came before the account incident. A full list of versions, phases, or later updates is not stated on the pages checked for this article.

Who is the owner?

“Who made Sprunki,” “who created Sprunki,” and “who is the creator of Sprunki” are the same question. His public answer is NyankoBfLol.

“Who is the owner of Sprunki” is a narrower question, and the pages checked do not answer it with a company name. He asked to be credited for making the mod. So Far So Good says it owns Incredibox, which is the game being modded, not a statement that the studio owns Sprunki.
